3D Printing A Life Size Swan - Builder 3D Printers

Large scale 3D printing has become a very important factor for the retail industry. Window displays change on a weekly or monthly basis and need to attract as much attention as possible. With large scale 3D printing you can translate an creative idea into a reality within days. A serie of 4 swans have been 3D printed and have been placed at a window display at a luxury department store in the Netherlands.

As the head it the most detailed part of the print, it was printed with a 0.4 mm nozzle and a 0.3 mm layer height. The body was printed with a 0.8 mm nozzle and a 0.5 mm layer height. The infill was set at 5%. The swan was designed, 3D printed and post processed by 3D Printing Prototypes from the Netherlands.
