When it comes to endusers can turn on/off the firewall. In Account protection in Intune, you can set policy for which user should be admin and give their rights. So other non-admin users can't change the firewall setting without a admin concent.

Great video. That's 's weird it allows you to disable the firewall. If you use GPO it grays it out.

During the rules you setup you said you didn't enable inbound block because you wouldn't be able to use Intune console tools. So if my machine is on our corporate network and we use an Intune tool it's able to go through our firewall and connect to the specific computer? That seems wrong to me. I would imagine it waits for the Intune agent on the computer to check in to see if there are any jobs it needs to initiate. That's the way most agents work. This way you should be able to enable the inbound block rule to secure the machine. Thoughts?

Hello and thanks for this video.

I have a strange behavior.
For me the police is applief successfully but when I ooen the windows defender console, the firewall is still off and I can manage it.
Do you know why ?
The policy is to enable and applied and the reg key are there with the right values.
