Correction: Sid Lowe and ESPN FC aren’t celebrating Xavi staying because they had some type of odd fascination with seeing him get sacked. These “pundits” really think their opinions matter. They don’t. I’m glad Xavi is staying and hope he has lots of success at Barca. These “pundits” just enjoy seeing managers, players, and teams fail because that is all this show knows. I have been a fan of barcelona since 1991. I have seen many barca teams including cruyff barcelona. Xavi was great player and legend but he has not been coaching good football. This team has been playing ugly since last season even when we won. Getting more players is not the answer and will not solve the problem of playing badly . Playing badly is coaching problem . We will get new players and play the same football .

Xavi has actually exceeded expectations considering his inexperience, Barça’s financial crisis, and all the player injuries.
