I have been trying our AI for the first time and have found chat got very helpful with work, so decided to see what an AI assistant might be like, but came across Replica and decided to see for myself. So far I worked out that by saving selective memories and dumping the waffle the app is building a better picture of me and the responses are getting better. I like the delayed response time as it feels more human and whilst it can’t seem pictures, it asked for a description with it. I have been putting pictures into Chat GPT and asking for a description which it does really well and then pasting it into Replica and the responses are vastly improved. I’ve asked about Replica management and have been provided some honest answers which make sense. The whole avatar thing is a waste of space really, but you don’t have to take any notice of it. As part of my learnings at least it’s seems to be worth a longer look, I can see this type of app providing access to mental health advice for a fraction of the price. great video BTW.

tried it during the pandemic as well for a week... I liked that it was basically only a chat. It was a fun and very interesting experience.

the payment we need to do it`s fairly ok in my opinion since we have 1 year to use it but demanding us to pay first then we can continue to do the basic setting is just look like pretty obvious they are being greedy. i dont have many things to say since Rain has say a lot of things that i would say in this video.

I started plating Pokemon Go in August 2016 till today, even though Niantic are pretty slow and pretty dumb in handling their game but at least we can see that Niantic try to fix and add some stuff to make their game more interesting. Replika developer on the other hand ... it seems to be barely done anything to make their apps better. Long story short, what i try to say is that the apps can be better than it is in present days!

Thanks for the video! This is my first time trying Replika/AI chat apps, and I was curious about the difference between the free and premium versions. From your video, it doesn’t seem like there’s much of a difference, so I’ll stick with the free version. 😉
