This mother was a selfish woman. She had an affair when her husband was away. She hurt him and then she couldn't even own up to her daughter. On the other hand her husband was a saint. He forgave and kept the family together. He did not even show any resentment toward the daughter. He deserved the presidential medal of freedom.

This is my firm belief of parenthood: "Any man can be a father, but it takes a special man to be a dad." That statement goes for women too. Her real dad raised her to be whom she is today and even though he knew of the elicit affair he still raised her as if she was his own biological child. Major respect to you sir!

I couldn't agree more with the statement "love makes a family" you can see her father's love when he tells her that he wants her to have a relationship with her biological father. I know what it is like to be loved by people that you are not biologically related to because I was adopted by two great people.

Still, these days DNA tests should be standard procedure at birth matching the supposed father and child. It is better to be certain from the start.

My stepdaughter proudly walked down the aisle with her Daddy and her Father. She danced with her Father to "It's a wonderful life" and with her Daddy "The love in Daddy's hands." It was beautiful. A Daddy and a Father are frequently completely different things; you can be one and not the other. What matters are loving memories. Honey, your Daddy is still your Daddy and always will be.

Mother sounds like a real prize. Had an affair & became pregnant w/ someone else’s baby & the man who raised the daughter had a better relationship w/ her than three mother who caused all of this mess.

Found out my dad wasn’t my dad three years ago as a result of an Ancestry Dna test. My mom has been deceased for 13 yrs. So unless my bio dad or siblings take a test, I’ll never know. It’s a tough pill to swallow, even years later.
