I know monsters like no demon’s buisness but I’m still baffled on how this one was formed.

Honestly it seems like a sort of “botched” or “negative” monster transformation (Wendigos/Skinwalkers are two example types that were once humans)

Sort of like if someone walked that path but focused PRIMARILY on BEING miserable. In a like depressed/hopeless way. As opposed to gaining power and slowly dropping those emotions, it seems this one MIGHT (if it’s even a Human-Monster at all) have actually created the reverse.

Where those emotions ended up BEING the transformation. And of course unique human-monsters are 90% of the time able to create more of their kind from other humans.

Either in person or remotely with energy/psychic connection. Thats basic shit though lol
