DC Regional real estate market stats September 2024

Closed sales were up and showings were up, the first in a long time for both numbers. Median price continued to rise, up nearly 9% for the region, but down slightly for DC. Days on market and months of supply creeping upwards for all sub-markets. The District has been pushing up against 5 months of supply for some time and finally broke through that barrier while the surrounding areas are approaching 2 months.
