I never understood how they could turn a documentary about New York into a hit movie 😮

One of the best action movies of all time. I loved this character. He's so creepy. He captures the ghoulish drug addict ambiance perfectly.

Steve Buscemi always kills every role he's in.

In the 80s, 'giving someone the finger', was a very serious matter 😮

He's Frank Doubleday (1945 - 2018). R.I.P.

Character’s name was Romero. John Carpenter did it as a nod to George Romero. The actor was the late Frank Doubleday. He was an acting teacher.

I just watched this for the first time in perhaps 20 years this morning. I saw this for the first time when I was maybe 13 and begged my Mom to let me sleep over at my grandma's because she had HBO. Of course, this was like 1982/3 and HBO was 1 channel. Ended up staying up all night to watch it at 3am. lol!
