I definitely saw it at the right age. Between devouring comics and the Doc Savage reprints from Bantam, I was a confirmed fan before the movie even came out and had no issues following the plot. As soon as I got online I sought out other fans, clumsily started a website and mailing list, and have been firmly in the Team Banzai camp ever since.

I was 40ish when I saw it. I ADORED IT. It didn't confuse me at all. I followed every line and was on the edge of my seat. I kept waiting for a sequel. I wanted it to be a franchise. I'm still waiting.
