In this video I show you how to use a Lawn Corer.
Specifically in this video I am using a 530A Aerotor Peter Driven Lawn Corer and I show you how I prep the lawn for coring and then use the machine.
The reason you core a lawn in this way is that the process of coring removes a significant amount of root thatch from the lawn, which together with the extra oxygen and free soil space, allows the lawn to reach down further into the soil profile leading to a healthier, more resilient and even more drought-tolerant lawn.
