WATCH LIVE: FBI director Christopher Wray testifies before House

FBI Director Christopher Wray is slated to testify before the House Committee on Appropriations Thursday afternoon, for a budget hearing titled the “Fiscal Year 2025 Request for the Federal Bureau of Investigation.”

According to his opening statement, Wray will discuss the $11.3 billion request that will go towards “the FBI’s national security, intelligence, criminal law enforcement, and criminal justice services missions.”

The hearing is scheduled for 2 p.m. EDT.

Consolidate FBI, DHS and ATF a single federal law enforcement agency. Focus on reducing leadership and senior management cost structure, improving inter-agency cooperation, and improving support for front line enforcement. Also focus on prevention such as securing the border, stronger cooperation with China and Mexico to curtail drugs and precursor materials entering the US, etc.
