Finally! I just adopted a lonely budgie from a family member and I put on a 2 hour show for it with budgies who are talking and chittering. He’s been fluffing up and chirping back at the birds on my ipad. I was searching to know what fluffing means!! I’m so glad to know it means he’s surprised or curious! He’s doing a lot of head tilting too haha. I’m glad I did something right for him! I already love my new friend :) ❤

Rubbing the head can also be rubbing off the sheaths from pin feathers. They are very itchy!
