Am I the only one that bring a notebook to watch these videos from Yumble? I do. I always get the best mod tips and a full on course on something I never knew I needed. Thanks again Yumble.

I’ve never been more awed over an intersection in my life.

I actually think this has a slight advantage over diverging diamonds in that the traffic flow is just as controlled BUT it's a lot more organic in it's design. Easier for people to understand because it incorporates normal seeming left/right/through traffic. People do get a little confused and disoriented by the pathfinding of a diverging diamond at first. In the real world, if the power was ever to go out, people would still be left with a much safer crossing to navigate than with a diverging diamond.

You had designed this a few months ago. I use it wherever I can fit it in. There is no better solution. High volume, no backups.

With proper lane markings it is also beautiful to look at.

Yumble: invents a new interchange
Also yumble: why aren’t more people using this interchange

I was following along with city planner plays in his Verde Beach build and I used these interchanges everywhere. 260k population and none of these interchanges have any traffic issues at all. My only traffic problem is because the computer is slowing down so much and traffic manager is starting to have problems figuring everything out. I need a faster computer!

As a transportation engineer this is absolutely amazing and something I’ve never seen before. Does this exist anywhere in real life?

It's a funny coincidence that you built the interchange right after I created it in my city

We really need to have this interchange wherever possible. Nice tutorial sir!

I've never been a fan of Cloverleaf or Parclo interchanges. Now looking at the single-point parclo, I think that's about to change. I need to find somewhere this will fit. Great video!

I don't play much C:S on PC but I just want to say I enjoy learning about the geometry of the things I drive on or use daily and your voice is both calming, comforting, and dare I say, attractive.

After watching this video, the "mayor" of my city decided to construct this type of interchange

I use this interchange that you've uploaded to Steam on almost all of my builds. I usually have to modify it a bit to account for the angle of the road and highways but it is such a great template and works super well for high traffic interchanges.

Just got into your videos and now I’m enjoying Cities like I never did before. Thanks for the great work and attention to detail.

Aside from the great video, I wish all youtube descriptions were as detailed and intentional as yours. Thank you for listing all the used mods, breaking your video into skipable chapters and then links to all your other platforms to get more of your content in those mediums

Okay, stared at this for a while, and I came to this conclusion: If you spread the overpass lanes apart, similar to the main highway, you could have a left lane exit the drops down and goes under the other side, removing the last point of contention and turning it into a None Point Partial Cloverleaf. You could also extend the incoming lanes so that there is no conflict and no potential for cars to try to cross over. I think that removing that cross over (and the traffic light) would up the flow a bit.

Your designs run so well, but not just that, they are a work of art. They look stunning, not often a highway can be one of the most beautiful parts of a city.

Man, @YUMBLtv, I'd love to see you re-do the old traffic flow comparison video that most of us watched where the creator tested vehicle flow over 10 or 12 different intersections. I would love to see that video done with correct timed lights and some of the newer intersections. Just a thought. As usual, loved your video!

I think this is my new go to service intersection!

Even if it does not outperform other designs, it gets full marks for aesthetics.👍I managed to build a conflict free DivDia service interchange, which works like a charm but looks strange...unlike this Beauty.
I've recently found "Highway over Wall" networks by SimoG and instantly stopped using other HW.
This one uses a single net for both directions (node count!) with a great concept for entry/exit lanes and barriers very realistic f Europian design... The only downside, I have to "redesign" all junctions, but we came here to build so I won't complain.
Thanks f the inspiration
