You make it look so easy! I just tried spinning yarn with a drop spindle yesterday for the first time, and I had to laugh when you said your yarn is going to be very lumpy and bumpy, fat and then thin because that's exactly how mine turned out!

I love your video I've watched a lot of other videos too & they focus so much on having a leader string & diffrent ways to start it but your way of starting with out a lead is great👍 and then putting the beginning of the single on the shaft is great.

Just tried this for the first time. I know it's normal to have super lumpy, bumpy stuff for a beginner, but I always seem to get the lumps right where the twist and the roving meet -- where I'm pinching. So when I go to draft, it's just too much fiber right at that spot. I can never get that fat lump of fiber to draft out. I know this just takes practice. It's just that one spot that's not working for me...
