I got -Fox 2.5 front coilovers w/ reservoirs, Fox 2.0 Rear Shocks, Icon 2.5" AAL, JBA UCAs on my 04 double cab TRD off-road Tacoma, which cost $3, 000. To me it was worth the price because the ride quality is way better than it was when it was stock.😊

Was a comparison done with and without all the extra weight of the steel bumpers and all the gear in the bed on stock suspension as well to see if the added weight played any part?

I love my Icons on my Taco. Prob getting time for a rebuild. They’ve been on 6 or so years now. I use King 14”700lb springs up front.

because stock don’t have all the extra weight from the metal bumper, rack, and bigger wheels so ofc it’s gonna stick to the ground more

Not the same test. More weight is loaded on the back of the Icon truck. Driven at different speed.

It's just the SR5 Tacoma with standard suspension it would have been nice to see what the "off-road" Tacoma would have done with the Bilstein suspension 👍👍

I mean for a stock suspension tho it really wasn’t that bad. On the stiff side, but overall looked pretty good.

Everyone that has ridden in my truck has their mind blown, and i get lots of looks in the middle of the dunes, best shocks for tacoma 2.5 ext travel with 2.5 bumps

Lol but those icons likely need to be rebuilt after that. I had icons for four months before one blew on one of the easiest obstacles in the park. Had to limp two hours home with no fluid in one. Have Kings now and have never had an issue

Even on stock he's still going fast I know by experience have the same truckran it stock and with upgraded suspension
