In this video I deal with growing Sunflowers and harvesting sunflower seeds - Big money can be made growing sunflowers in Farming Simulator 22 but you do need some specialised equipment. Sunflowers are one of the easiest crops to grow and harvest
It is used in the production of rapeseed oil in the Oil Mill (200l of rapeseed - 100l of rapeseed oil).
You can feed pigs with it.
The sunflower yield is 10,000 litres per hectare.

I personally, immediately after harvesting a field of sunflower's, plow, de-stone, lime, fertize. Prior to March and the seeding process. I again and because I live North of the frost line, if needed either de-stone, if not; Simply in either case, lime again. Because my seeder allow's me to fertilize at the same time as seeding. I add while seeding, fertilizer. Once seeding is done, I roll the entire field, which help's in dispersing the seed a wee bit and if they are any small stone's, pushes them down into the ground, to be picked up after the harvest when I start the entire process over. Meaning, plowing, de-stoneing and adding a layer of lime followed by the first fertilzing. Doing thus "ALWAY" get's me 100% yield. Plowing after harvest and again prior to seeding. Leads to never having to weed. Considering the time, effort and funding of everything envloved in weeding. If's far cheaper to plow twice.

If my mom sees me Playing this game she’ll start remembering when she was a little girl at her family farm starts telling me it was so lonely life no other kid’s around and when night came they where all in bed around 6:00pm till 3:00am they didn’t have power electricity this was back in the 1930’s no phone’s either the town was like 30 miles. I think my grand father would loved living in 2022 with all the farm equipment they have now day’s.

I got all the steps of lime & cultivating and fertilizing and rolling but the last step was very soft and I missed it - any chance you could tell me on here or did anyone else hear it? - thanks ever so much for doing the YouTube and helping us out
