I think the oil plant becomes a better option if you are growing two to three types of plants for oil. If doing only one type, then I wouldn't worry about it. I am working all three types currently and I still end up with some down time on the plant through the year (seasonal growth on). Expanding more fields may reduce down time and make it more worthwhile as well.

oil mills better if your harvesting larger amounts. Its definitely not worth it early game. however i run sunflowers and canola and make a nice profit due to the fact that my harvest are generally multiple fields worth. where as i would get 60-65k a harvest i'm making 81k for a harvest.

I was a little shocked the profit on sunflower oil was so low, most production has a different price trend than the raw material, so I was thinking maybe sunflower price would be high in the video and the oil low, but they have the same trend pattern. Even with the low prices for oil it might be more useful if the prices peeked at 6 month intervals, so you can sell half the sunflower seeds when it peeks while the other half is processing for oil, that you can sell when it peaks to spread out your income. Most of the production seems so profitable you don't even worry about price trends, and just sell when it is produced.

If you use the corn header with the stalk stompers (it's a mod in the hub) it adds the mulched state while harvesting.

One thing worth noting is that is that you dont need to plow after harvesting sunflowers unlike corn, even though both leave those stems.

Playing on hard economy it would take me roughly 4 years to pay off that oil mill with the amount of sunflowers I harvested in Haut-Beyleron. With sugar beet cuts and the sugar plant, it only took 1 year to pay off that building cost. Disappointed with sunflowers.

Last I heard beehives actually don't affect the yield at all, even though they are supposed to

I cannot get seeds into the planter no matter what, any suggestions?

Planter accepts fertilizer no problem, but when near seed pallet cover wont come off and option to fill planter does not pop up.

Man it would take years to even break even for purchasing the oil plant, let alone running cost, and the cost of equipment to load the palettes, and the cost of the equipment to haul the pallets. Then if you set it to auto-sell you are probably not even making a profit due to the 35% cut. Thank you for this, glad I didnt buy the oil factory.

Remember "di" is 2 so Diametre is 2x radius

Had the oil mill for a period of time then sold it off...yeah wasn't worth it.
