Показать описание
This is a hands-on tutorial to help Power BI people get started with Fabric in under 10 minutes. We first create a workspace and lakehouse. We then create a dataflow to clean and shape sample data sourced from a CSV file then load into a table in a Fabric lakehouse. We then run some SQL queries on the table, create a measure in the data model and visualise the data with Power BI.

Is it mandatory to have a Premium Microsoft 365 account to proceed? My job does not provide one. I would like to work with my local SQL server or using my local files, but the Fabric service seems to require the Premium Microsoft 365 account... :( Is there anything I can do about this?

Can that created report be downloaded for further transformations in Power BI desktop? Will the downloaded pbix file hold the dataset as well or the dataset can not be downloaded?
