I just found your channel and I love it. I live alone on one acre which is plenty for me. I have bees, but no other animals. I have a small orchard that I planted a couple of years ago, and one of your videos gave me the idea to plant between the trees. I am doing raised beds because I’m retired and rolling around the dirt doesn’t appeal to me lol. I am going to plant all leafy greens so they when the trees fill out, the beds won’t mind. This life is a process, and I love every bit of it. And thanks for this sourdough discard recipe. I will be adding this to the sourdough category of my life. Peace and love. ☮️💕🇨🇦

Thank you so much for your videos
You have an ability to make everything seem so easy.
I just found out yesterday about being able to use kefir in place of buttermilk…
I’ve had dairy allergies for so long and was never able to tolerate - even raw milk was hard (ish) too many days in a row.
I recently found goat kefir and it is changing my life. I watered it down a little and used as buttermilk and is so delicious.
And here you are today mentioning that kefir can be used. Some things are just as they are supposed to be. :)
Fun fact:
There is a probiotic bacteria in RF goat kefir that gives a buttermilk taste. (Same one that is in buttermilk).

I found after mixing the 250 grams of sourdough starter, 250 flour and 250 corn meal that it turned into a ball of dough. Was not as runny as yours. Letting it sit for an hour before mixing the rest of the ingredients in but I hope it works! For future, measuring with grams is much easier for people to follow and get your recipes more accurate.

I’m excited to try this tonight. I think I’m going to use a silicone muffin dish. Any idea how long they should bake in that?

Thank you for the recipe!!! Off topic but I had the video playing while I prepared lunch and I kept hearing a little one talking and I would pause looking around 😂. I have teenagers so I was confused for a moment and remembered oh yeah they have littles still!!
