I wonder if there's still someone locked in their bunker there thinking that the world outside is gone.

hawaii resident here. my girlfriend woke me up yesterday morning hysterical cause she got the alert. i took a look at it and thought if its true then the navy will shoot it down, if not we live in the middle of downtown and hopefully we'll be vaporized real quick. i just got off work a couple hours ago after working graveyard shift so i was exhausted. i said im going back to bed, if i will die, i will die peacefully in my sleep

Thought we were gonna die. I jus looked around and heard phones going off then I was like "Wait a second. A warning?" Then I pulled mines out and the message popped up. I thought "I knew this day would come.." I'll admit. I was scared. 17 years of life isn't enough for me.

Well, maybe it's a good thing. I can imagine how traumatic it was, but it's good practice for if it ever actually happens.

Best place to take cover, the Pali Tunnel, or the old Military tunnels in Diamondhead!

I tried to call family but, could not get in touch with anyone...I just accepted my fate at that point.

Yeah. If I hear a missile alert warning, I'm heading outside.

I do NOT wanna be around after they go off.

This is a test to see the reaction of the people to see if they could find safety

What a bunch of total screwup's! Now, if the real attack happen's, people will assume it's another mistake and ignore the warning.
