Many modern DAWs have some kind of linear arranger and a free-form clip launcher. What sets Bitwig Studio apart is how the two sequencers can be used together, letting you arrange, edit, and perform in any order and combination.

The fact that these two sequencers are in the same view takes this over the top. That one small detail changes everything.

Would be cool for newbies if the keyboards shortcuts used were displayed along the video!

Oh snap-a-jack! Shut it up! I just made the investment into Bitwig yesterday after watching numerous comparisons and tutorials for Ableton Live and Bitwig. Now I understand the power of the Clip Launcher AND Arranger united! This is why people like the layout of Ableton Live, correct? I'm excited about going home to practice this. The explanation was clear (great audio clarity) and this is what I can't do efficiently using Logic Pro, but it can be done there. Bitwig just does it very well.

What a time saver. That allows spending more time being creative!

Well done.

2:49 a nice feature would be a Scene Track, similar to Propellerheads Reason Block. So, when you change something in the Clip launcher, it will be automatically applied to the arranger. And when you want to change just a small part of a Scene in your song, just overlay it with a new Midi clip or Audio clips in the arranger.

Very interesting. I didn’t think about consolidating for making unique moments which has been one of the biggest hurdles within the clip launcher. Thanks for this!

On 4:02 you consolidate remove your sweep fade. Bitwig, Why not preserve Fades on consolidate? Whyyy? :(

U could transfer the Fade data to Audio Events.

There should be an option to lock each section of the song like intro bridge etc so to move those sections around.

Hi, is there a way to change the color scheme of the Arrange timeline and Piano roll editor? That light gray background is really botherring me in a dark room.

You guys have for sure one the weirdest and fastest workflow DAW ever, , but we need things to be less experimental and more musical, we need better presets for existing devices, the reverb is like a mystery thing, and maybe this is the guy from ableton or not but a voice like this was needed for bitwig for a minute you guys had me thinking this daw is more for nerds then for people the wanna make music lol so is great his here now he explains very much better than some you nerds, ,, also we need more midi stuff man build some deceives to generate rhythms and generate drums like some of M4L devices please
