Thursday's extended Cleveland weather forecast: Pop-up Downpours, More Humid Today in Northeast Ohio

Cleveland weather forecast for Thursday, August 8, 2024.

If you missed the heat and humidity yesterday, don't you worry...it's back today. The remnants of Debby will continue to push higher humidity in here today and we'll crank out a few downpours this afternoon as the squeeze play is on between two systems. This will cause showers and a few storms to bubble up in the heating of the day with scattered rain expected to continue through evening. The heat returns today as well with highs getting into the low to mid 80s.

Then our attention will turn towards the remnants of Debby. We'll feel tropical tonight and early Friday with a few downpours around. The bulk of the heavy rain and gusty winds will stay well east of us.

Debby will head north Friday afternoon and our skies will clear out with breezy conditions developing. This breeze will bring in an incredibly refreshing airmass in for the weekend. We're looking at highs in the mid 70s with lots of sunshine and low humidity this weekend. Make outdoor plans now!

FRIDAY: Early showers and clouds give way to sunshine and refreshing breeze. Near 80.

SATURDAY: Feeling great! Sunshine with a decent breeze. Low humidity with highs in the mid 70s.
