Although we're in store for a soggy weather week throughout Cleveland and Northeast Ohio with several rounds of rain, we're staying mostly dry for today.

Temperatures will be approaching 60 degrees by early afternoon. Areas along the lake, however, will be cooler.

While Wednesday's weather won't be a total washout, Hollie Strano says we can expect periodic rain showers throughout the region that could also come with some rumbles of thunder.

Looking further ahead... A cold front swings through later this week, bringing temperatures back down and keeping additional rain chances. As temperatures scale back into the 30s Friday night, some mixed precipitation will be likely that lingers into Saturday.

Here is your 3-day Cleveland weather forecast.

TODAY: Some sun peeks. Milder. Rain chances in the afternoon -- especially areas south. Around 60.

WEDNESDAY: Mostly cloudy with showers likely and perhaps a few rumbles. Mid 60s.

THURSDAY: Partly sunny with spotty showers. Mid to upper 50s.
