Cleveland weather forecast for Wednesday, July 19, 2023.

The air quality has drastically improved for us in the NEO region. We can thank our lucky high pressure system for that.

Now, we begin to turn the page. As the news cycle has routinely and regimentally covered the extreme heat in the south and southwestern U.S., it has caused system after system and front after front to take a dive into the Ohio poll from week to week.

As a result, another strong front is expected to push in enough energy Thursday for some strong to severe thunderstorms.

As of this note, our severe weather risk for Thursday, is at a SLIGHT RISK with the potential for damaging wind gusts, isolated tornadoes, periods of heavy rain, and hail. All effects pose a concern for the northeast Ohio region.

We urge everyone to develop a plan now and remain weather ready and on storm watch Thursday afternoon into the evening.

Lows tonight will settle into the mid to low 60s under stable conditions. After the front, a much brighter and stable forecast is ahead for the weekend with lots of sunshine and low 80s.

Here is your 3-day Cleveland weather forecast.

TONIGHT: Mostly clear with a few clouds. Mid to low 60s.

THURSDAY: Some strong to severe storms develop. Mid 80s.

FRIDAY: Leftover showers, much cooler, to afternoon clouds and sun. Mid 70s.

SATURDAY: Mainly sunny. Some 70s, some 80s.
