The only thing I wish Knipex did was add cross hatching instead of straight teeth on the gripping area. These are damn near perfect. Now lets see them make their verison of Marvel cross cut pliers.

Those are great, just not heavy enough to keep my lineman’s out of my tool belt. They just don’t twist wire like a heavy pair of lineman’s.

My favorite feature is the “mountains” where the wire sizes are visible separated with longer parts they really perfected the tool when they put 12 and 14 on opposite ridges

What about when you cut the screw and go to put it in a metal wallcase? The threaded cutters are threaded for a reason. To clean the retap the threads on the screw

I really like the Kleine Tools ones with the spring that makes twisting wires super easy and the fact that they're meaty enough to use as a hammer

How can it cut the screw shaft without smashing the threads? Part of the attraction of the threaded type is once the cut is made, unscrewing it from the tool straightens the threads pertty effectively.

I love these, but I would suggest one change: be able to strip 8awg wire, instead of the tiny 18awg solid

i have always wanted to buy these but dont because they cant strip 10 gauge stranded and they dont have a crimp feature. not good enough for commercial or industrial
