Welcome my channel! If this is your first time seeing my face or hearing my voice, my name is Lee and I am a self aware narcissist. I have narcissistic personality disorder ( NPD ) and I've been in therapy for my personality disorder since 2017 and it has definitely changed my life because without it, I would have lost everything.

The point of these videos is to help bring awareness from the other side of the narcissistic *buse spectrum. All my videos give perspective on why many narcissists do what they do and the possible different reasons behind them. The victims and survivors get validation and the Narcissists (those that are willing) get to see that you can get help and that you are not alone.

My ex-narc will get hundreds of dollars worth of gifts for our son but then has hundreds of excuses for our daughter's .. our daughter finally told him point blank that he treats our son better than her & he tried to convince her he doesn't and said "I'm sorry you feel that way".. She told him "There is no sorry without change!"... he says "you sound like your mother" her reply.... Thank you, she taught me to stand up for myself .. BOOM 🤯🥳🤣

Again before I understood what I was dealing with, I recall planning a 4 day trip out of town for us to celebrate his birthday with his only child and he ruined. He was mad the whole trip. It started on the way to the airport and continued until we returned back to North Carolina

My 62y/o narcissistic husband spent our first married valentine's day at his office till 9pm (or did he? Thats when he got home). He didn't take me anywhere for my birthday. I spent it alone. After a toxic, tumultuous first year of marriage, my narcissistic husband and I spent our first anniversary apart. He went sailing ALONE and spent the weekend with his daughter. That was the last straw. Actions speak louder than words.
After 4 months no contact, Im still struggling to try to heal from the emotional damage he caused me. I don't wish this abuse on anyone.

Facts 💯! I got a promotion and he congratulated me and said I'm treating you for dinner. Instead his bf came over with his gf and he volunteered to treat them and said nothing about me or my promotion! Totally forgot he just made plans for me! I sat home and celebrated myself by myself!

He made me 15 minutes late to my daughter's HS graduation and I missed her! I was beyond pissed.

My ex just showed up for my sons birthday, MY SON, not ours. I cut him out of my life after finding out about him cheating with 9 different people within an 8 month period. I went no contact and he showed up, with gifts in hand. When he wasn't welcome, he threw a fit calling me ungrateful and disrespectful. Never mind the fact he crashed my sons birthday party and tried to make it out him.

I would get cleaning products or a cheap gift every Xmas. Also, it was so hurtful that my daughter would get a thousand dollar Xmas gift and I’d get a Macy gift card for 50.00. She is not his biological daughter and I’d get that creepy feeling he had weird feelings for her as she got older. In fact it was brought to my attention by family members they noticed it.
So many events as you have described continue for me. He was also so angry when I was happy or with a friend/family talking to them and he’d be seething.
All holidays were so sad! My entire 20 years has been so difficult and as you have described and I can’t live like this anymore.
He has all the money, he never would marry me and I’ve been on disability since he met me. He’s very educated and I know I was only chosen because I was so vulnerable, sick, widowed recent, I
had money he needed!
I am in the process of leaving him! I pray to God I get a break and find a little place for myself.
I’ve never won and he’s like living with a spoiled lying brat! I can’t stand him and he knows it. I was so afraid of him for years and tried so hard to be perfect and all he did was scream in angry fits of such rage. I feel very distraught and wonder if I’ll ever recover from this abuse because this is what it’s been for me.

They never appreciate any gifts. And after a while my ex would just ask me to just give him cash—why, so you can just go out and spend it while cheating with someone else? No thank you. I decline!

Truth. My narc mom was only nice to me on Christmas or birthday. But some birthdays & Christmas she did nothing. Narc spouse same way, but ruined more holidays & bdays than I can count. Yep, I spent decades having expectations of better behavior, to my own detriment. Thanks, for what you do in helping raise awareness & validate survivors.

Mine broke up with me right before my first marathon. I had been training for ages. Was so disciplined and dedicated.
Three days before, instead of supporting me, she broke up with me.
Told me i make her feel dead inside. That was also my birthday weekend.
So she didn't he need to hear about my race or my special day.
When she came back two weeks later, she acted like nothing happened

Literally always ruined my birthday never got gifts always made it about him. Didnt want me to go out with my bestie and her man tht day its like he didnt want me to get celebrated. They also tried to hold me back and make me miss out on my sisters 30th birthday but i was like no and i got on that train. He was such a piece of shit. He even ruined when i gave birth i was enjoying every moment until he showed emptyhanded up acting like an asswhole fighting and arguing with me when i just had surgery. Smh i dont miss him at all.
