Today is a special day for oncologists across the world. There are two reasons for this. This is the day for oncologists think about how many lives we have been able to help to get better, we also think about all cancer patients who have fought and survived and help I’ve an enriched life and we appreciate that they have a great life after having a difficult time. On this day it also reminds us to be humble hat cancer is not a small disease. It can destroy families and it can change the entire environment of an individual. Today I would like to pass on some message to my patients relatives and fellow citizens. Cancer should be treated by multidisciplinary oncologists. The team should comprise of multidisciplinary oncology team comprising of Medical Oncologist, Surgical Oncologist, Radiation Oncologist, Radiologist, Pathologist, all the ancillary team like the Physical Rehabilitation Team and Dietician Team and so many other members that help to make the entire cancer treatment journey a much smoother one. Even though there are going to be some inconveniences that with the best f aber treatment you can treat cancer and live a normal life. The second thought is never to consult from online sources. India is one country where a doctor is easily accessible. Reach out to an oncologist or your family doctor. If you want more information about how to prevent caner.
