The Red Wedding is remembered as the most shocking moment in Game of Thrones, which truly set the tone for the series in that nobody was safe. The agonizing and brutal deaths of Robb, Catelyn, and Talisa, along with her unborn child are horrifying to watch, standing alongside Shireen Baratheon tragically being burned alive as the worst moments in Game of Thrones. House of the Dragon’s Blood and Cheese story will be similarly devastating, and will be just as effective in establishing the cut-throat nature of the Dance of the Dragons – not even children are safe from the 30-year Targaryen feud.

Similar to how the Red Wedding wasn’t the end of the brutal catastrophes in Game of Thrones, Blood and Cheese won’t conclude the havoc in House of the Dragon. Many fan-favorite characters will die in battle or in executions, with hardly any notable figures surviving the Dance. Although King Viserys I Targaryen married Alicent Hightower in the hopes of strengthening House Targaryen’s family line, House of the Dragon will prove that it was only effective in dwindling it down further.

House of the Dragon’s first season will have ten episodes, each of which will run for roughly one hour. Season 1's tentative schedule is as follows:

In nowadays power of makeup artist it is strange they decided to change actors. It is not Rhaenyra which was and i am sad. It is so easy to do person older. More easier than do person younger and it works in many movies and series. Milly Alcock deserved better.
