Something that just hit me when you were talking about Abraham and Isaac:

There's the sequence where God asks Abraham to sacrifice Isaac as a test of faith. Abraham, despite his grief over the idea, is willing to go ahead and do it. Could that event have been God's way of foreshadowing what he was going to do with his own son? Could God have been obliquely saying that he, too, was willing to make a personal sacrifice for the greater good?

I never realized it until now, but the Abraham/Isaac event feels like it was the first omen of the Crucifixion.

Summarizing each book and placing it in proper context in 10 minutes is amazing!
