How to Replace 5th Gear Synchro on FD RX7 Transmission

Detailed video on the (easy) process of replacing the 5th gear syncro in an FD Mazda RX-7 transmission. Most of these parts can be ordered directly from a Mazda dealer. With all the parts and tools ready, this can be done in an easy two hours for beginners.

Few things I have learned and thought to share. When placing the synchro in get in close and line up the grooves as it will look and feel right till later in the process when the "c" clips below the main bearing don't slip in easy (even though they look supper close). Great write up on rx7 club forum too about this issue and i added pics there.
To pull the main bearing I used a Harbor freight 8" 3 jaw bearing puller for 24 bucks..(i didn't even cut them) but modified with 6 1$ metal strap pipe hangers sold at home depot (thick one's, not the roll). If you want to cut them w/ that puller go 10" too. 2 people help hold it on but br careful and slow if having one person hold.
Think that big nut on smaller bearing was a 32 mm but can confirm tomorrow. When "un punching" that nut just get it it like 95% and impact will do the rest.
I used a bag and or tape so I didn't drop small part deep down the tranny when removing things like the BB.
Go slow, taken ur time, not too bad. I went slow over a couple nights.

Hi! I'm doing a project for the university, can you please tell me how many teeth there are one the gear that lays on the input shaft and the big one on the countershaft that couples with the one on the input? That would be very helpfull for me!!
