Installed the X Blade adapters and Ripper blades along with my stock blades on my Ariens Ikon 52 yesterday. Took it out and mowed pretty damp grass after it had rained and the yard looked great when I was done. My deck slightly clumps on the right rear because I closed off the discharge hole with a plate I made to turn the mower into a mulcher, but just lifted the deck all the way up and just quickly went over those spots and the lift force created by this system picked up the wet grass and spread it out, could not tell it had even clumped. Very pleased.

Hey kory is there any way you could do a video of your guys sharpening blade’s. Like how they smooth out indentions where rocks or other debris hits the blade’s?

Just got the X blades installed and mowed the yard, they strip great!!! But I can hear my mower growling more and it seems to be using more fuel. What’s your thoughts is it gonna be hard on my mower?

No it’s not gonna last razor sharp but the sharper you make it the longer it will last in the long run as long as you’re not scalping or running over a rock or something like that
