With Becker his netgame is gonna get better (you already saw that on the ATP Finals) and he will grow a lot in 2024 in my opinion. And he is gonna mature through that as well for sure, looking forward to his evolution!

To me, it all comes down to one single key: patience.
He tends to rush everything. That's good when you are in the zone. But when you aren't, you need patience.

Could you make a video about Simona Halep? I think her story needs to be told and I would be very curious to see your opinion on the whole situation. Love your vids btw, keep it going!

Watching this video as he just parted ways with Becker. A stable coaching situation is what you need to win a slam. Why is he flip flopping between two of the greatest coaches of all time?

Rune has improved in all of these aspects immensely in the past year. He is way more mature now, is definitely working on his physical issues, and has the mentality of a beast. I think with the new team he has built in the last months, he will rise. Wishing him the best for 2024. People need to start looking past his actions in the past and look more at his journey. Very interesting growth and explosive game out on the court. Let’s go Holger!

I’m a huge Sinner fan but I may have un unpopular opinion… I’ve watched many Rune’s matches this year and I think that he has the most impressive technique and potential out of them 3 ( rune, sinner, alcaraz). If he can control his temper, he can really become a dangerous player

Holgers mother, Aneke, said, after the match, that Holger was shouting to his coach, Lars, to leave the box. Lars ignored it, and she left instead to take off the tension.

Rune is a very talented player. The problem is that Sinner and Alcaraz are really tough. Mentally he has to be solid. Yes he has victories over top players but it's a matter of week in and week out consistency. On a given day he can beat anyone.

Moratagulu is interesting because he knows how to market himself. If l am a player who is capable of winning grand slams, l go to Darren Cahill, Boris Becker, Brad Gilbert, or Brad Stine.

I just hope Holger's philosophy can change a bit under Boris and Severin. Daniil has showed a big shift in his way of thinking on and off the court now in Australia Open in comparision with his days of two years ago.

I agree with your breakdown of the issues that are causing Rune to not win as much as his talent would suggest. The biggest point for me was the decision making and shot selection, which to me go hand-in-hand. I’ve seen him essentially give up pivotal points due to his poor shot selection and decision-making

Great video! Thank you for sharing it with us, tennis fans! Rune is young and already a remarkable player🎉🎉🎉❤❤ Love when he plays even tho his mental part of the game makes me think sometimes that he is not ready for those GS 5 setters. Hope that he will only grow in 2024 and who knows, maybe he will reach later stages of GS this year once again! Maybe even a final of GS, which will be a great achievement! ❤😊😊 Way to go, Holger!

everyone who wants to get inside the intensity & instability of being a tennis prodigy like HR should read Agassi’s memoir. basically, none of us can imagine the pressure, exhaustion, & confusion of a gifted adolescent in any field rising so fast. that said, thank god HR got rid of that conman Patrick & sought help from a real tennis player/coach. he now has to work on his court positioning and tactics, as we saw in the Dimitrov match. a seasoned player can still pull him up & back & get him out of court position, which is when he loses balance & shanks. he still slaps the ball more than strokes it (the way Carlos does & Sinner has learned to do). my basic point, his path to success is technical & tactical as much as emotional. i predict he’ll never win a GS but will hover in the top 10 for several years. he’ll win 5 m1000’s. he’ll be rich & happy. also, he’s gonna have bad injury problems. i like him.

People need to lay off Holgar. He’s actually a pretty good young man. Insanely talented, fights on court and brings a lot of interest/enthusiasm. to tennis fans who watch him play.

The male brain doesn’t even fully develop until age 24-25. He’ll get there. He has displayed some humility at times and appears to be a very friendly and kind hearted young man. Stress, pressure and expectations tend to bring out some less than ideal and mature reactions at times. He’ll get better. I love watching him play and predict multiple majors for him ahead.

Fana need ro give Holger some slack. Novak began as a bratty child and ia now a very different player, and one of the greats.

thanks again for your quality vids this so pleasing to watch ! I have immense faith in Rune he will win multiple majors no doubts and will create a big rivalry with alcaraz and sinner ! Can you make a similar video with two players that I think might one day get to the very top and wins a slam maybe ( Ben Shelton and Arthur Fils )

Just watched yesterday against Safiullin and you could hear quite a bit of emotional distress directed towards his box. Pretty interesting.

It takes time to shape a person. He will get it.

As always, an excellent presentation! Wow! You put in the exact and perfect amount of everything…bravo! I look forward to seeing more!!! Happy new year. As for Rune, he will learn EVERYTHING he needs from Boris. Boris KNOWS tennis as good as anyone ever from players to coaches. Boris is going to teach him the inner game of tennis and the mental strategies that he needs
