no, i meant linus' opinion.. anyone can tell you it's going to be faster, more energy efficient and with less heat dissipation. And for your upgrade, if the prices aren't that reasonable, go for 3rd gen :)

if you're going for a 3570kor a 3770k, do not wait (or higher of course). Other than that, nothing is worth getting now that a new series is coming out. I think i can safely say the 3570k is going to survive the next 2-3 years with no issues :) after all, the 2500k is still going strong today

Yup, much better igpu with like 2-3% processing performance, and and much better efficacy in wattage.

More Cores at lower clock uses less power than less cores at higher clocks... plus I think it is split into a set of 4 low power and 4 higher power cores...

not 8 full cores.
It has two 4-core cpu's that it switches between depending on load (one for higher performance and another for better battery savings)...

The app is only in us/ca, and its more iphones then androids in us/ca.
