A hug to everyone who can relate with the song.
A hug to everyone who needs it, no matter the reason.
A hug to everyone with sunburn and every falling tree.

This is a sign.

This is a sign to keep going. You don't deserve to disappear. Don't do something permanent to solve a temporary problem. One day you'll look back and realize that all of this is far behind you. Keep going.

I've read the 357 page book, listened to the entire musical like 8 times, and read the informational book. This is EPIC

As a 35-year-old who has spent far too much of my life waiting on the sidelines because of the voice in my head constantly telling me that I don’t deserve dreams because I’ll never be good enough to realise them, this song made me cry the first time I heard it, and almost every time after that.

Does anyone else do something slightly embarrassing everyone looks at you funny but then laughs it off and forgets but you keep thinking about it and you literally think that you hate yourself and the person you are because of one little brain fart? No? Just me?

My student showed me this song. It is a very well made song. The Pentatonix do a good job with their rendition of it as well. Very catchy piece from Dear Evan Hansen.

Me: STEP OUT STEP OUT OF THE SUN IF YOU KEEP GETTING BURNED

I suffered depression and anxiety all my life. I wanted to be heard and seen so often. I'm 36 now and I am reclaiming my life.
You reading this, find yourself and step out. There is help, you will be found. X

It's odd. I was on a school bus once, and some people were happily singing along to this song, as if it weren't sad. I mean, it's a bit upbeat, but how do you sing along to the lyrics perfectly without getting a little teary-eyed or wistful?
