This just keeps getting worse as it goes along. There was a tweet in the past 24 hours where the writer has no clue about why Ki-Adi would know about the Sith. It's clear no one who cleared this script ever saw Episode 1. How does this even make it past the first-year film student clerking at Disney? Kill a Wookie who is also a Jedi without a weapon...oh yah, that would have worked out so well. That S&M helmet on Smile-O'ren? WTH? So is it safe to say that Kylo ripped his bucket design of this dude? Or is it lazy designers? But Back to Ki-Adi...his age was (*and still is) cannon. It wasn't just in Wookiepedia before they changed it mid-show. Go back about 20 years and check the cards, Lucas pegged him at 70.

I was waiting for the Clerks style joke about the LOTR walking...and walking...and walking. Nice.

We actually will get to see Kelnacca fight he was fighting Torbin in the trailer on Brandok, the witches probably turned him, flashback episode gonna be much better then the first and hopefully answers some questions like how the Jedi killed the witches cause it’s obvious they did during the fire conflict

Just by the way, Ki-Adi Mundi has no canon age. His legends age came from a third party baseball card 2 decades ago. He also does not know that a sith is behind everything, none of the Jedi do. Only us and Mae know that.

This episode was so boring. Mundi was born 93 BBY which is like 20 years too early so he isn’t even close to being an adult. 😭 also the sith be looking like Mary poppins just floating around in the back. Mae’s instant switch to the light side really bothered me as well. Like nobody turns back that fast after being such an evil person.

The first nice Theme is twins. We are at the mid point of the show (I think they wrote this for only one season) so it feels that they are trying to land the starship maybe too soon. They are showing you why the Jedi's overconfidence led to there downfall even 100 years b4 prequel . That is how the Council started to serve the Senate instead of being independent. With her switching up so soon I would say that she is confused because she is controlled . Jedi fell do to overconfidence . This is the way!

I think that after 4 episodes we can see now that this show is quite boring, there are no characters I'm really into, the story is flat, in Ahsoka, the first Season didn't had much to Say, but Ahsoka, Cindulla and his son, Anakin, Thrawn, Ezra...and the "Bad guys" were just great, the cast and the ambiance of the show was awesome. I'm watching acolyte and I feel no tension growing even when the sith arrives... Still curious but less and less enthusiast. 😢
The idea you got doing a light and dark shirt was really cool, and it brings moderation to the stupid hate surrounding the show. Disney did some great stuff and some bad stuff for the franchise, c'est la vie 🙂

Two things: 1) His age was not canon, it was clearly stated in legends. Wookiepedia is getting way too much hate. They have confirmed that on their page there was never a canon birthdate. They have now updated their page with new canon information as they should. 2) Mundi has not and does not see the red lightsaber figure. I think Star Wars Explained described it best that Mundi being present is perfect since he was so arrogant in the prequels. "The Sith have been extinct for a millennium" WRONG. "Dooku is a political idealist, not a murderer" WRONG. Perfect choice for him to be there

As a whole the episode was pretty boring, , until the final scene..IMO and yes leave it to a woman to change her mind in flick of a switch 😂😂😂

To sum it up, it just feels like amateur hour over at Star Wars base, my kids are currently at film school in college, and they are all having a laugh with their lecturers on how bad this is and what "not" to do in film. Nothing to do with racism or hate, its just bad storytelling/directing.
