What he doesn´t say here: Your body needs the right amount and mixture of minerals and trace minerals, so he can regulate everything in balance. As long as you don´t get these, you can eat what you want, it won´t help you for this important balance. Todays industrial food production has reduced everything we need in plants by ruining the soil due to high intense agriculture with tons of chemicals and heavy machines, both are killing the "microbiome" of the most important ingredient for plants, the soil. Even more important to what you eat, is what you should not eat. Avoid any poison, which is all in processed foods from the industry. My advice is, go one time to trade fair for food manufacturers and look what is offered there. You won´t believe it, if you haven´t seen it before. There you see only chemicals and powders, enzymes, colors, aroma, ... all kind of not natural manmade garbage. So this is what you eat, when you buy processed food in the supermarket, it is mixed with water (cheapest ingredient), starches, cheap meat, cheap fat, even more cheap and poison GMO soy and all this harms you, if you want or not want. So first step is start cooking with fresh and whole food, that is in any case better than something you have to rely on long lists of ingredients you don´t even know.

When people talk about acid alkalinity they are not talking about the blood, but the cells. Cells pH, not blood pH. Blood pH does not change, if healthy

Thank you! This is one of my pet peeves! While I remember it from an A&P class about 15 years ago, I'm pretty sure we covered it in high school 35 years ago. As you say, the foods in the alkaline diet are good for you, but the fact the promoters don't understand basic biology tells me they shouldn't be trusted for advice. Thank goodness you're here to clear it up!

I don’t think the point anyone makes towards the argument is that we need to change the Ph of the body but we need to help the body maintain homeostasis. As you know homeostasis is good but is done through taking things like calcium from bones and causing a loss of bone density and mass. The goal of the alkaline diet is to help the body achieve homeostasis and make it easier on the body especially as you get older and this process slows now I wouldn’t myself say an alkaline diet is best we all know a well balanced diet of all sides seems to be well suited your acidic and your alkaline. But I do agree that a alkaline based diet is better you do not by any means what your diet to be 60% acidic 40% Alkaline you need the body to lean towards 70% alkaline and 30% acidic

Dr. Please include the other environment of bodily composition eof interstitial fluids, organs, lipid, muscles with a too acidic diet can impact tissues, soft and rigid. Thank you for your time.

When protons get pumped some tissue gets more acid. I am worried that pancreas, while ducting alkali into ducts also generates acid outside of ducts and this is why pancreatic cancer is so bad.

As far as I heard no one who is favoring alkaline diets is saying it would change the blood PH. In the body only the stomach acid is really acidic. If it is spoken about an acidic body, it is meant that due to circumstances (diet, lack of movement, stress, lack of minerals) the body has to take minerals from his buffers to prevent acidic blood. So time after time, if you don´t change anything, you will run out of your buffers. One effect could be osteoporosis (bones are alkaline). So I think this video itself is also a kind of misinformation and primarily ad advertisement to buy the online course, of course 😉. I hope the course is better than this short video.

You have no idea of what you’re saying. You aren’t changing the Ph of your blood. E.G. cancer thrives in sugar/acid environment. Since I started looking after my health after refusing the jabs, bought a water distiller, eating no junk food, processed food or acid foods (vegan). OMG I am
SO HEALTHY NOW, at 76. You should see me!

So this isn’t all that helpful for people who are on doctor recommended alkaline diet plans. Who aren’t healthy and do actually need to lower the acidity in their system.

Could you do a vid on how the body keeps one's body PH in check? As well is the urine PH test strip accurate? Mine most always comes in around 5 or so and I am a wee bit concerned. Thanks
