For thanksgiving, one of the things I am thankful that I stumbled upon you guys on Spotify earlier this year!!! I’ve spent all of 2021 listening to your music on repeat. Your songs are absolute musical and lyrical MASTERPIECES—how you never ever make bad music is beyond me, every single song is a bop and is so memorable…in fact, your music is better than 99% of the mainstream modern songs out there…you deserve millions of views!! I’m never usually a fan of specific bands or artists, but you guys are the exception—I’m a huge fan of yours for life!!

Justin and Slavo 💗 I am so proud of you guys and thankful for your music. ‘Silver Crane’ is an incredible collection of songs. I have missed commenting on some of your more recent tracks – ‘Borrow Your Time’ was a highlight for sure, but I just wanted to drop back in to say ‘thank you so much for your music and sharing your artistry with us’.
As for this song and video, ‘North’ sounds and feels like the perfect track to close out the album (It also stands on its own so well).
I know I have said it before, but I just love how you flip things in your lyrics, like phrases or notions we’ve heard before but said in a new way. A few of the lines I really love are:

✨ “I'm a rock at the bottom and I'm sinking.”
✨ “I thought this had to leave my body, I thought I had to let it run its course.”
✨ “Things start looking north.”
I love the concept for this video too – all of the ones you have out in nature, or just in the outdoors, have this really beautiful sense to them. I loved just before the drop where the compass became the silver crane, like the search was over and now in its place was hope – the hope of being in the right place and finding the right person. Also I loved in the final chorus where you were both literally above the clouds, like you were both in the sky but with your feet still on the ground ⛅
Especially because of the distance, I hope that once travelling is safe again, you guys can come down to Australia for a festival or a tour – it would be amazing (and very joyous it seems) to see you live. Until then, all the very best with your tours in the US to see out this year and well into next 🎹🎵🎻
