So glad I'm not the only one. Not pleased with Honeywell. Thanks for the hours long headaches and non-working thermostat and the freezing nights and the time wasted trying to figure out how to wire up the thermostat, and for the service fees to a/c guys, and the hold times looking for tech service support (have you tried calling the 800 number? Ha! They state 'this is for NEW customers, if you have a TECH question, call them -- no number provided ANYWHERE').

Honeywell should show wire installation for heat pump for Trane.

Had this for 3 months updated all air condition system and the heater will not work had to replaced with old thermostat and works. Very disappointed

I got "up sold" this thing we when I had to replace the furnace. Have had this for a year. Cannot program it at all. I use it like a manual .. I’m in N California and it can’t cope with the fact I have no Air, and it won’t let the Heat just sink down. It runs the fan instead. I’m ready to hit it with a hummer, but am too lazy to get another service call.

Honeywell's customer service is terrible! I've been on the line forever. I tried the live chat and it doesn't connect. Service is terrible and they should be embarrassed.

My thermostat is not working right. I set it 20 Celsius degrees but it shows 29 room temperature. What should I do to keep temperature room down?

this is a pain in the ass to program - why aren't there any videos on how to program the schedule. I don't give a flying fig on how to install it - now i want to program it and the weekend different. I want the cooling schedule different than the heating schedule.

My experience with Honeywell is similar to that of Joseph Thomas' comments as I too waited interminably on their customer "help" line and never did get to speak to an operator. They should take stock of this arrogant and dismissive attitude and look at GM, another company that thought it was a god, only to find itself bankrupt in a pile of dust wondering where they went wrong!

Truly crappy product it does nothing well. I programmed computers for 30 years and this manual is the worst and exceeded by the product itself.
