What a Great era! The house, cars, clothing, style, culture, politeness, good manners and charming warm music.

This is a perfect time capsule of the early 1960s it's valuable and fun for that reason.

I love the car, the house, the clothes, the chemistry and the tension. She’s a great straight foil for his witty patter.

This is when televisions looked like televisions. They had style. Now they look like - nothing. Just a thin piece of black plastic.

Bob Hope was, obviously, stepping up in class here, costarring w/Lana Turner, in her return to MGM, in 1961. Hope, free from Paramount, was working here for the first time. But so much leering, Bob, and, yes, too many one-liners. where's the character you are supposed to be playing? Lana was good in this scene, and still very much the MGM-created movie star.

The day is fast upon us when no one will watch Bob Hope movies anymore, and it's not coming a day too soon. He's just creepy; and I'm a Boomer who ALWAYS thought so. An exception might be The Princess and the Pirate, but beyond that, he's just one creepy dude.

This man's dialogue was nothing but one-liners.
