I was a teen during the 2011 outbreak in central bama.

My message to everyone is to make sure you CHARGE EVERYTHING. Fill up your cars if you can. If you know anyone traveling back into AL/MS for spring break. Tell them to wait until Sunday.

Make sure that weather alerts are turned on for ALL DEVICES. Get boots, water, canned goods. We gone get through this ❤

Something that made some recent, very notable outbreaks so much more dangerous was the storms that went through and knocked out the power in the early morning hours. For those in the area most concerned about, PLEASE make sure you have a way to receive warnings that are not dependent on your power.

This whole thing reminds me of April 27th outbreak. I live in Cullman Alabama. It was all over us! All over Alabama and the Deep South. I am not ashamed to admit “I’m skeered!” Got the storm pit cleaned out and stocked up, ready to go. Lanterns, candles, flashlights, blankets, pillows and couple of books. Get ready everyone!
