The reason they sell F-35's to other countries and not F-22's is because the F-22 is the one plane that could trump the F-35's dogfighting capabilities. This isn't even an argument. I love the SU series and they're arguably the best 4.5 Gen fighters around (granted the F-15 has over 100 kills Zero losses and F-16 70+ kills 1 loss). The thing about the F-22 is the pilots themselves will tell you no plane in the world can touch it, it's one of the US's best kept secrets and when it was put in foreign air war games they sent it in with zero stealth coating, limited speed, and Machine Gun only but when done in back yard testing against F-15s and F-16s a single F-22 squad was able to wipe an entire fleet from the sky suffering only one loss.
