I love this album. A dear friend and teacher got this for me for my 16th birthday (I'm 39 now) and it changed my life. I was blessed with great music and this is the best. I play guitar now and I resurrect dozens of Marley and tosh songs. The youth deserve this.

Real truth 🦁❤️💚💛

No sun will shine in my day today
The high yellow moon won't come out to play
Darkness has covered my light
And has changed my day into night, yeah
Where is the love to be found?
Won't someone tell me ‘cause life (sweet life)
Must be somewhere to be found

Instead of concrete jungle
Where the living is hardest
Concrete jungle
Man, you've got to do your best

No chains around my feet but I'm not free
I know I am bound here in captivity
I've never known what happiness is
I've never known what sweet caress is, still
I'll be always laughing like a clown
Won't someone help me ‘cause I (sweet life)
I've got to pick myself from off the ground

In this here concrete jungle
I said, what do you got for me now?
Concrete jungle
Why won't you let me be, now?

_Ad lib to fade_

—Robert Nesta Marley

Absolutely the best version of this track, I saw Bob a couple of years after this tour in 79’ and he was magic. What a great time to have been alive.

This takes me back to a time in my life when music meant something, and the great Bob Marley was speaking to all of our consciousnesses. Do I ever miss those times, and do we all miss Bob Marley more than we ever realize. Babylon By Bus is one of the best live albums ever recorded, and sometimes I can’t hold back the tears remembering how magical those days in the world of music were.

First time I heard of this song was long time ago: a friend of mine wrote the lyrics on the wall of her bedroom... last year I heard that she was gone due of cancer... I felling like to break down and cry...

Are you Bob Marley fans listening to the organ floating in at 0:27 and taking over at 0:42?? This is some serious shit by the late and great Tyrone Downie👌
