What happens to me: when I get the game open (rarely) I can start making my sims and when I finish all of that I go to get a house and then te entire game freezes and it turns my computer screen a weird colour. Then I have to restart my mac because it's like the sims is giving my computer a virus??

//Fixed Mine\\ I was able to move the mods and downloads to the desktop and then delete the sims 3 folder. Then i entered the sims 3 game to get the folder back. Then I just added the mods and downloads back in and my launcher worked perfectly.

I haven't been able to sign into EA for 5 years. I was so pissed off. I had so much stuff on there I needed.😡😡 Do you know how to fix it? I would really love help!

Sadly, I had to delete everything and start over... even the folder and saved files. I am hoping this works to fix my game... thank you for posting this! It was the only tutorial that wasnt convoluted and full of confusing tech talk

Hey, so I’m trying this and when I search for sims 3 on cc cleaner and I try to delete it, it gives me a warning message about the deletion could cause system instability. I click yes for delete, and then I get an error message saying unable to delete all specified values. Can you help ?

What worked for me is I took out my sims 3 folder from my Documents/Electronic Arts folder, then I went to Origin, Sims 3 settings, and updated my game. After that I went into my old Sims 3 folder and dropped my mods & cc into the new one.

Hopefully 6 years later you're still checking the comments because under the registry editor, I had a couple files that wouldn't delete. The prompt that popped up said " (RED X) Unable to delete all specified values.... any ideas your husband may have for this?

I just bought the  game yesterday and I gotten the starter pack, I downloaded the origin and then the sims stuff. I clicked on the sims 3 game and it told me that its having a error. what do I do.. :'''(

With me, I was installing some mods for sims 3 and after I finished, I tried opening the game to start playing with the new mods. The launcher came up and I pressed the play button. It looked like it was starting but then I just get a black screen with what looks like a white screen rim of a tab/website/something idk. And I can't make it go away. I wish that I could comment an image of what's happening but unfortunately YouTube does not have that feature. :(
