Care ragazze, che splendida sorpresa mi ha riservato, ieri, poco prima delle 1500, il destino facendomi incontrare, in una delle sale di attesa della Gare Montparnasse di Parigi, TAKO, in trasferimento con Tatuli e Mari (che ho intravisto solo dopo, mentre accedevano al treno) per Toulouse, dove avranno un concerto questa sera. L'emozione ed il mio rifiuto per l'inglese mi hanno impedito di esprimerle il mio apprezzamento per la loro opera ed il ringraziamento per il sorriso che ci donano. Credo che la luce nel mio sguardo sia stata, comunque, sufficiente. Non mi sono osato chiederle se avessi potuto fotografarla, ma posso assicurare che il fascino e l'allegria di questa ragazza sono evidenti anche nei momenti della vita privata. Un caro ringraziamento.

Now that's serendipity.
I was watching an old Soviet movie "Salt for Svanetia", from 1930, on Wikipedia (don't ask why, just one of those internet rabbit holes), when the notification for this video popped up. And I thought "wouldn't it be funny if those ancient towers that are in the village of the movie, were also in the background of this song?". And sure enough, there is one!
According to the movie, they were built to throw rocks at the tax collectors of the local feudal lord.

Ancient Svanetians were hardcore. 🤟💪
