This is the official music video / short film for Hybrid's new single, Flashpoint.

Multi award winning, decade spanning, film scoring UK electronic duo Hybrid return to this scarred and embattled world with the first single from what will be their sixth studio album (July 2021).

'Flashpoint' doesn't try to hide it's wide screen filmic dynamics, with soaring melodies, trademark thunderous bass and driving synths up front and centre; meanwhile, the rolling breaks that have underpinned the duo's twenty five year career have rarely sounded more current than in today's electronic landscape.

The remix comes from new Brainfeeder artist Tutara Peak ( aka; Ekcle ) and anyone familiar with Flying Lotus's bespoke and hallowed imprint won't be surprised to discover a meditative six minute + musical journey, one that still manages to pack understated, punchy energy amongst reflective auditory pools and abstract, off-trail musical excursions. One to watch.

Incredible. Hybrid are so underappreciated. Their work evokes a true sense of atmosphere and epicness, it's no wonder their tracks show up in so many films/tv shorts. I genuinely believe that Hybrid have never made a bad track on any album.

If you're a fan of these guys, then you have an acquired taste my friends!

Life affirming music! This is true music, true art. You don't just listen to Hybrid....you experience them! When they appeared over 20 years ago, this is how I envisaged all music to sound today! How wrong I was, this stay niche, and rubbish rules. But still nice for us special few who know them!

I went through a pretty dark time in my life a few years ago. Hybrid was there. I’d drive around listening to music late at night and letting things just flow... Lights and thoughts just passing by... it was very helpful
