Kenzie Ziegler Opens Up On Relationship With Sister Maddie Ziegler

Today we're sitting down with Dance Moms alum, Mackenzie Ziegler. Kenzie is an American singer, actress, former dancer, and internet personality. Today Kenzie joins us on the show to discuss all things Dance Moms, being placed in the spotlight at 6 years old, and what it's like growing up under the Hollywood microscope. She talks about her relationship with the other cast members, how her family dynamic evolved over the years, and why she decided to write a song dedicated to her father. We also dive into all things therapy, growing up and making friends as a famous teenager, and what she's learned over 10+ years of being a famous kid. Lastly we dive into how today's social media atmosphere affected her & how she's dealt with trolls, fake friends, and how Dance Moms changed her life.

Maddie's never surrounded herself with bad people. They just find her and hold her hostage. Abby and Sia didn't and don't allow her to hang out with anyone. Im so glad MacKenzie can be free and make her own decisions. It was at the expense of being neglected by her mother as a child bc the focus was on Maddie but it made her stronger and independent. Cant wait for Maddie to see what freedom feels like. (Note: Melissa was a good provider mom to both girls but not emotionally to either--except a little for Maddie).
