It’s their choice if they didn’t want to be there. Maddie was pressured at a young age to win and be the best, Mackenzie kept being compared to Maddie, and Nia was being mistreated and shoved to the back. Again, why would they want to relive that?

I agree with everything Brooke Chloe and Paige said, and actually it’s true! Nia Maddie and Kenzie chose not to show up simply bc they didn’t want to have to experience their past and what they went through.

maddie, kenzie, and nia don’t even talk about dance moms and it’s their choice and I was so mad when I saw it for the first time and i am still mad about it 😪

It honestly feels like the producers took the Maddie, Kenzie and Nia's "No" personally and decided to put some drama into it. I honestly think it's being exaggerated how much Nia, Kenzie and Maddie actually talk about the show. Kenzie touches on it lightly every once in a while, Nia has been graduating from college, and Maddie is getting serious into her acting career and opening a new chapter in her life. The Cosmopolitan magazine was also 2 years ago, and she didn't even say names. Abby was the one who made a song and dance about it by creating a whole video about it, basically proving why Maddie wants absolutely nothing to do with her. Also the show painted Maddie as a "Brat" for most of the time she was on the show, and caused her to get hated by not only kids, but grown adults too. Why would she want to go back? Why would Kenzie and Nia want to go back? Good on Paige, Brooke, and Chloe for remaining respectful about them.

I honestly think we are in no place whatsoever to judge anyones decisions here. We are not the ones who had 3 days to learn a few new dances every single week. We are not the ones who were characterised and portrayed in specific ways in front of a camera for years. Those girls childhood were taken away from them for the satisfaction of reality tv and the public. Just because all the girls experienced different kinds of experiences on the show and by Abby, it doesn't make anyone's experience any lesser. This is not a competition.

And there it is. Right there at the end Kendall just separated herself from the other girls and just confirmed to us that she is not an OG even though she thinks she is. Even before the show, Brooke, Paige, Nia, Chloe, Maddie, and MacKenzie were just little girls dancing at the ALDC and were friends before cameras came in. They understand the trauma they went through and can see why Maddie, Mackenzie, or Nia want to put the show behind them. It is apart of their lives and they can talk about whatever they want and whenever they want.

I like that Paige spoke her mind and balidated them, screw Kendall tbh, she was always posting pics with captions like "sisters for live 😍" and stuff with the Zieglers but will talk badly on them for 5 seconds of screentime
