I was today years old when I realized the 2 characters leaving are an hommage to amazing producers Samfree and Powapowa-P who died 2 years before the song got released

I love how they made Miku sound more mature and real rather than her classic "high pitched and kawaii voice"

There's a lot of VOCALOID references in this song:

Salute before the graves of the masses = Dance of the Corpses

Yes, the life that was born of the Melt sensation = Melt

Hey, hey, hey, you and me, wanna rendezvous? = Matryoshka

Right now, pa-papah, come leaping out, my hero = Panda Hero

Let's blast off, further now = Hm? Ah, Yes

Hip-hip-hooray = Umbrella Revolution

and ready set go = clock lock works

That dance hall = World End's Dancehall

the back of the mosaik = Mosaic Role

With your raygun, go bang-ba-bang-bang = Senbonzakura

Boys and girls, sing of the hope you find = Children Record

in electronic sounds = Princess Sleeps with Electronic Sounds

boys don't cry = Boys Don't Cry

That song like a confused dream = Mrs. Pumpkin's Comical Dream

Lead us to the castle in the sky = Climb! Advance! To the Tall Tower

This is all according to the wiki

This is one of the best animations for a Miku song I've seen so far

hachi is actually kenshi yonezu, the dude that made the 2nd bnha op. and you can also hear his voice in the chourus (idk if its just me)

I will always hear Kenshi Yonezu’s voice in the back. You can kinda hear his voice if you pay attention to miku’s, as there is a hint of a male voice in the back.

I just noticed but the structure shown at the end (3:58) looks like a birthday cake 🎂🎂🎂

Heard this from somewhere else, but basically the people following miku with the masks and various instruments represent vocaloid producers.

The girl with the flower face would be a fan of miku and another producer

The two producers who leave represent producers who retired or quit making vocaloid music

And then at the end there's some more producers off in the distance that miku and her gang walk towards, those could represent new producers

And the various references to different songs (which were made by different producers)

There was a video that talked more in depth about this song also

I’m surprised they didn’t actually animate this in Future Tone’s style and just pasted the MV

This song bring me back memories, it's some melancholic the references of the song.
Thank you so much for the video and the subs, I liked! :D

I love the fact in 1:50 It is supposed to show different Miku modules, but they do not put it, because GUMI appears in the original video

I still love everything about this song and I'm so glad that Vocaloid still exists. Maybe not in the same way it did a few years back, but it's still there and that's what's important

Wow, I'm catching up on Vocaloid music and this one is my most favorite and top number one song on the list now.
Maybe because Miku sounds older then she does and also love the Animation in this music video!
It's amazing :'0

ok so, i know jackpot sad girl is supposed to be a response to this song but i cant help but feel like this song is more right than jackpot sad girl.

jackpot sad girl is trying to say that there are still people working hard, but this song never said that people were not. this song is about the depression and dying of the vocaloid community. does anyone else understand what i mean?
