Little trivia, in the anime Trunks just killed 17 with a regular one handed yellow energy beam. I think it was a great touch to have him use Masenko in this one.

that is a great detail they added I love it when Android 17 was being haunted by Future Gohan's Spirit.

What I love about this version of the androids deaths is it confirms my initial reasoning as why the androids killed gohan in the first place. They killed him because they knew if they let him go he was gonna beat them the next time he fought them. Android 17 looking up at trunks and getting ptsd from seeing gohan in the 1v1s was the icing on the cake. If gohan had both his arms he would’ve won that fight.
