Announcing: Routes API

Do you regularly use the Directions and Distance Matrix APIs of Google Maps Platform? In this video, we introduce the Preview release of the new Routes API. Be prepared to learn about new capabilities and added performance optimizations, including improvements to waypoints and request options that’ll make your directions and distance matrix requests more accurate and flexible. And guess what? We’ve specifically added support for two-wheeled vehicles, too. There’s plenty of updates, so be sure to watch the video!

I have a requirement where I have to plan a long route with multiple stops in between. I also need to plan the stoppage time at each of the waypoints. I then need to monitor and make sure that the schedule is maintained. Can we do this in google maps? Especially, defining stoppage time at each of the waypoints and monitoring that? Thanks
